As drowned the friendly cooings of my dove.
Which owes the other most? my love was long,
And yours one moment seemed to wax more strong;
I loved and guessed at you, you construed me
And loved me for what might or might not be –
Nay, weights and measures do us both a wrong.
For verily love knows not ‘mine’ or ‘thine;’
With separate ‘I’ and ‘thou’ free love has done,
For one is both and both are one in love:
Rich love knows nought of ‘thine that is not mine;’
Both have the strength and both the length thereof,
Both of us, of the love which makes us one.

(Taken from Love Poems)
Today we spent our evening at a park by our house; it was an evening where we were able to soak in each other and read and talk.
The weather was nice and the spanish moss danced peacefully through the nice breeze as if to welcome us in
David sat and read love poems to me that we got from our friend Aaron as a wedding gift. We hadn't really had the chance or motivation to read a book with words that only make sense to a philosopher's mind. But this day we sat and read, and took time to understand.
every word on every page had a meaning, had a purpose.
And as I sat there watching my love sweetly speak the words and turn the pages, my heart swelled with love for him all over again
I did love him first.
And I thank God that, one day, he decided he loved me back.
That was very heart-wrenching...keep it up!
